Yellow Edge Grouper Frozen

Yellow Edge Grouper is a lean, moist fish with a distinctive yet mild flavor, large flakes, and a firm texture. Even though it is lean, this fish is forgiving during cooking and can be rather difficult to “overcook” in the sense of drying out.

Yellow Edge Grouper has a mild but very unique taste. It’s somewhat of a cross between bass and halibut. Available year-round with peak catches in the Atlantic and Gulf of Mexico occurring during the summer and fall, grouper meat cooks up very firm and holds its moisture better than other fish.
