Directions
Instructions
Prepare the ahi tuna: In a medium bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, sesame oil, rice vinegar, honey, grated ginger, and minced garlic. Add the diced ahi tuna and sesame seeds to the bowl, and gently toss to coat the tuna evenly. Cover and refrigerate for at least 15 minutes to marinate.
Prepare the wonton wrappers (if using): Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly brush the wonton wrappers with a bit of oil and drape them over the edges of a muffin tin to form small taco shell shapes. Bake for 5-7 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy. Remove from the oven and let cool.
Assemble the tacos: Place a spoonful of the marinated ahi tuna in each wonton wrapper or taco shell. Top with diced avocado, cucumber, red onion, shredded carrots, radishes, and fresh cilantro.
Add the finishing touches: Drizzle the tacos with spicy mayo and a bit of soy sauce or tamari. Serve with lime wedges on the side for squeezing over the top.
