Ingredients
-
1 lb Whiteâs P&D Shrimp (26/30 count), thawed
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 3â4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 shallot, finely chopped (optional)
- Πcup dry white wine (or chicken stock)
- Juice of œ lemon
- Πteaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- Salt & black pepper, to taste
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
- Lemon wedges and fresh herbs (optional, for serving)
Directions
Prep the Shrimp: Pat your shrimp dry using paper towels. Season lightly with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes if using.
SautĂ© Aromatics: In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat. Add the shallots and cook for 1â2 minutes until soft. Stir in the garlic and cook for 30 seconds.
Cook the Shrimp: Add shrimp to the skillet in a single layer. Cook for about 2 minutes per side until pink and just opaque. Remove shrimp from the pan and set aside.
Make the Sauce: Pour in the wine or stock to deglaze the pan, scraping up any browned bits. Simmer for 1â2 minutes, then stir in the remaining tablespoon of butter and lemon juice.
