These Mediterranean Mahi-Mahi Tacos offer a delightful fusion of grilled Mahi-mahi, fresh vegetables, and tangy tzatziki sauce, all wrapped in warm pita bread. The grilled Mahi-mahi is seasoned with a blend of olive oil, garlic, paprika, and lemon, giving it a flavorful and juicy taste. Topped with shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, cucumbers, and crumbled feta cheese, these tacos are refreshing and satisfying. The homemade tzatziki sauce adds a creamy, cool touch, making these tacos a perfect quick and healthy meal for any occasion.
Preheat the grill or a grill pan to medium-high heat.
In a small bowl, mix olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, black pepper, and lemon juice.
Brush the Mahi-mahi fillets with the seasoned olive oil mixture.Grill the Mahi-mahi fillets for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until the fish is opaque and flakes easily with a fork.
Remove from heat and let rest for a few minutes before flaking into bite-sized pieces.
In a medium bowl, combine Greek yogurt, grated cucumber, minced garlic, lemon juice, and chopped dill.
Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Mix well and refrigerate until ready to use
Wash and shred the lettuce.
Dice the tomatoes and cucumbers.
Crumble the feta cheese
Lightly warm the pita breads or flatbreads on the grill or in a skillet over medium heat for about 1-2 minutes per side
Place a warm pita or flatbread on a plate.
Add a layer of shredded lettuce.
Top with flaked Mahi-mahi.
Add diced tomatoes and cucumbers.
Drizzle generously with tzatziki sauce.
Sprinkle crumbled feta cheese on top.
Garnish with fresh dill or parsley if desired
