Cooking Instructions
- In a small bowl, whisk together all the ingredients for the marinade - garlic, olive oil, lime juice, chili powder, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Place the wolf fish fillets in a shallow dish or resealable plastic bag, and pour the marinade over them, ensuring they are well coated. Marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours for maximum flavor.
- Preheat your grill or grill pan over medium-high heat. Remove the fish from the marinade and discard any excess marinade.
- Grill the wolf fish fillets for about 4-5 minutes per side, or until they are cooked through and easily flake with a fork. Remove from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes.
- While the fish is resting, warm the tortillas on the grill or in a skillet until they are lightly charred and pliable.
- To assemble the tacos, flake the grilled fish into bite-sized pieces and divide it evenly among the warm tortillas.
- Top each taco with sliced avocado, shredded cabbage or lettuce, diced tomatoes, and chopped cilantro.
- Squeeze fresh lime juice over the tacos and season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve immediately and enjoy your delicious wolf fish tacos with your favorite salsa or hot sauce on the side.
